A desk of AI agents that has to explain itself.
Most AI trading tools give you a score. TradingAgents gives you an argument — four analysts, a bull, a bear, a risk team, and a portfolio manager working through a ticker in front of you, then checking their own math against the live price before you see the result.
Why it's built this way
A single model producing a confident number is easy to build and easy to trust for the wrong reasons — you can't tell whether it reasoned well or just sounded certain. Splitting the work across roles that have to argue with each other, and then independently checking the result against reality, makes the reasoning visible and the output checkable. That's the whole premise.
It's also why the desk doesn't stop at a verdict. A grounding gate reviews the target and stop the desk just produced against the live quote, before you ever see them — flagging a call that contradicts its own numbers instead of quietly showing it to you as fact.
Built on published research
TradingAgents' multi-agent structure — analysts, a structured bull/bear debate, a risk team, a portfolio manager arriving at a final call — is built on the framework introduced in the paper below. We extended it with the grounding gate, multi-horizon calls, portfolio optimization, and the rest of what's on this site, but the core idea of a debating desk isn't ours alone.

What we won't do
Fabricate a number
If a price level can't be grounded against the live quote, we say so instead of showing a confident guess.
Call it advice
TradingAgents is a research tool. The output is a structured opinion, not a recommendation to act on.
Hide the reasoning
The debate that produced a verdict is something you can open and read — not a black box behind a score.
Charge you to sit still
No subscription. You pay for a new analysis, not for having the app installed.
Where it runs
Global equities, crypto, commodities, and Indian exchanges specifically — NSE and BSE data isn't licensed for most free charting tools, so TradingAgents runs its own fallback chart for those markets rather than leaving them out.
A note on where we are
TradingAgents is under active development. Some things described elsewhere on this site — like real payment processing and broker connections — are being built and aren't fully live yet. We'd rather say that plainly than let the marketing get ahead of the product.
