Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using TradingAgents, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use TradingAgents.

2. What TradingAgents is — and isn't

TradingAgents is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial institution. As of these terms, TradingAgents does not place trades, hold funds in a brokerage sense, or manage your investments — it produces analysis, and any wallet balance you hold funds usage of that analysis, not brokerage activity. If order placement or broker connections are added in the future, updated terms specific to that functionality will apply before you can use it.

3. Your account

• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone or email, or with a supported third-party sign-in provider.
• You're responsible for keeping access to your phone, email, and any device where you're signed in secure — activity on your account is treated as authorized by you.
• Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
• You may request deletion of your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Wallet and payments

• TradingAgents uses usage-based pricing: you add funds to a wallet, and each priced action (such as running a full analysis) deducts from that balance at the price shown in the app at the time.
• Re-checking a ticker is free when nothing meaningful has changed since your last analysis of it; you're charged again once the price has moved meaningfully or the prior verdict's target or stop has been reached.
• There is no subscription and no recurring charge — your balance is only reduced when you use a priced feature, and you choose when to add more funds.
• Wallet funds are for use within TradingAgents and, except where required by law, are non-refundable and non-transferable once spent.
• Where real payments are enabled, they're processed by Apple, Google, or a third-party payment processor under their own terms — we don't store your card details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use TradingAgents for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to access another user's account or wallet.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying models or source code, or interfere with the normal operation of the service.
• Use the service to build a competing product without our permission.
• Misrepresent TradingAgents' output as your own independent analysis or as licensed financial advice when redistributing it.

We may suspend or terminate access for behavior that violates these terms, that we reasonably believe is abusive or fraudulent, or that puts the service or other users at risk.

6. Intellectual property

TradingAgents, its design, and its software are owned by us or our licensors. The multi-agent research framework the desk is built on is credited to its original authors — see the About page for the citation. We don't claim ownership of published research we build on; you don't gain ownership of our product by using it.

You retain any rights you already have to content you provide to the service, such as a portfolio you enter for the optimizer. You grant us the right to process that content to provide the feature you requested.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

TradingAgents is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any analysis will be accurate or profitable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradingAgents and its team are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on its output.

8. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continuing to use TradingAgents after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable local law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise. (This section should be confirmed against wherever the operating entity is actually registered before publishing.)
